Learning a language today goes far beyond textbooks or grammar apps. Beyond Words VR transforms language learning through immersive experiences where students interact, speak, and progress in lifelike environments. But what kind of exercises does the app actually offer? And who are they designed for?
The app offers a wide range of exercises organized by theme and level, from A1 to C1. Beginners start with essentials like colors, numbers, the alphabet, everyday objects, family members, animals, the weather, or meals. These first conversations take place in clear visual settings, where words come alive in a 360° environment.
At an intermediate level, learners experience real-life situations: shopping, ordering at a restaurant, asking questions in the street, taking transport, booking a hotel, or going on vacation. These dialogues help consolidate knowledge while expanding vocabulary and grammar structures.
More advanced learners work through complex scenarios in professional and social contexts: attending an interview, convincing a colleague, taking part in a meeting, expressing an opinion in a debate, or negotiating a salary. These exercises help develop fluency, oral confidence, and argumentative skills.
Beyond Words VR also features content inspired by seasons and current events. Students can take part in themed activities like Valentine’s Day, discuss social topics during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, or explore traditional holidays in different countries.
Some exercises also offer a strong cultural dimension. Learners discover iconic places, historical figures, and local stories while practicing the language. It’s an opportunity to learn in context and deepen their understanding of the cultures tied to each language.
Beyond Words VR is designed to be flexible. Teachers can select one common theme (e.g. “animals”) for the whole class, while adapting levels from A1 to C1. They can group learners by level, or let each student progress independently.
The app is suitable for both individual and group work, in-person or remotely. After each session, students receive immediate feedback from the built-in AI. They can review their responses, correct their mistakes, and clearly track their progress.
There are two exercise modes: guided (with three answer choices) and free speech (the student speaks out loud). Free speech builds confidence, improves pronunciation, and encourages spontaneous language use.
Students reformulate, respond to open questions, and take part in structured dialogues. Thanks to voice analysis, learning becomes tailored, mistakes are identified, and oral skills improve naturally.
